Bill Brinker graduated from Kendall School of Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1968 with a degree in fine arts and illustration. He served four years in the United States Air Force, spending a year overseas serving in Vietnam.
After completing his duty he started a career as a graphic artist and illustrator working in advertising. His career spanned the next 40 years. During this time Brinker also honed his skills in watercolors, acrylics, and oil painting in an impressionistic style.
Brinker’s paintings appear in many private collections and in galleries. He has won many awards in art competitions. Currently, Brinker teaches watercolor classes and conducts workshops at Studio 23 in Bay City, Michigan.
